As the autumn leaves have started to drop, I wanted to remind everyone of how important it is to have your leaf blower in use on a daily basis. As a rule of thumb, you should run your blower approximately one minute for every unit on your property each week.
This means a 120 unit property should use a blower about two hours each week. Blow around the property entrance, around the leasing office, and marketing paths daily. You can divide the rest of your property in sections, and do one section each day, resulting in having your entire property blown once per week.
Remember, if you have landscaping contractors that visit on a regularly scheduled day, there is no need for the site staff to blow that day, as your landscapers should have it covered.
