RESIZING PHOTOS
Many of you have had questions regarding how to make uploading photos faster and easier for posting internet based advertisements.
Note:Â This is also a fantastic way to alter the size of photos you send to the central office or your supervisor.
Step-by-Step Guide to Resizing a Photo in Paint:
- Photos you upload should ideally be less than 100KB each. Â Most cameras take pictures that are initially 1-3 MB (1000-3000KB).
- Open any photo using the default Paint   program that comes with your computer.  You can usually find it here: Start/Programs/Accessories.
- With the image open in Paint, select:  Image/Stretch/Skew Â
- Change the 100% to 25% for Horizontal and Vertical stretch only. Â
- Select Ok and the picture should shrink dramatically, preserving the quality. Â Select: File/Save to preserve the changes and your picture will shrink in size from several Megabytes (MB) down to a more manageable size that is around 100 Kilobytes (KB).
