We order all maintenance supplies from HD Supply or directly from a Home Depot store. All maintenance supply orders should adhere to the Cambridge Real Estate Service Specification Sheet.
HD Supply Solutions Purchase Procedures
Before ordering you should obtain a catalog. You can call 1-800-431-3000, extension 0 to have one mailed directly to your property. There are two ways to order: on-line or by phone.
Ordering On-Line
Purchases from HD Supply Solutions are made on-line via the following website: http://www.hdsupplysolutions.com/.
- Before ordering on-line, an account number is needed. Your Property Supervisor will coordinate with a member of the Employee Resource Center, and they will set up an account number for your use. When there are personnel changes, please contact the Employee Resource Center so a user can be added or deleted.
- Once on-line, the Registration section is found on the home page (in the top right area). From there, the username and password can be set up.
- Go through the website and order what you need. The check-out section is self-explanatory.
Ordering Via Phone
To order by phone, call 1-800-431-3000.
- When ordering supplies via phone, simply tell the Customer Service Representative what you want and confirm the billing address. NOTE: There is a dollar spending limit per property. Speak to your Property Supervisor about your property’s spending limit.
- Purchases arrive typically the following day if placed by 3:00 p.m. PST, via UPS, FedEx or the HD Supply Truck. Orders placed after 3:00 p.m. PST will be processed the next day. Some orders may take as long as 5 days. Pay attention to items listed as “back ordered” or “out of stock”, as these orders can take up to two weeks.
- For orders under $50, there is a $5 handling charge. Orders over $50 incur no delivery fee or handling charge. Some larger items may have an additional handling charge, but this will typically be noted in the catalog, on-line, or via the phone.
