In conjunction with the Cambridge safety manual, we would like to remind and encourage you to continue to hold your safety meetings based on the safety newsletters that you receive throughout the year.
What is the safety newsletter?
The safety newsletter is a series that will help guide employees through the safety manual so we all can ensure safe work practices.
When will it be published?
The safety newsletter will come out once each month.
How do we share this information?
We request that each month you print and copy the safety newsletter and use it as the basis of one of your site team meetings. The front page of the newsletter has a place for you to add notes about the date and time you held the meeting, who attended, and what was discussed.
Where do I keep this and future safety newsletters?
These newsletters and meeting notes should be kept in a safety file folder in the site management office, so it is readily available during a supervisory visit, audit,
inspection or OSHA visit. The newsletter and meeting notes will serve as evidence that you are discussing and promoting safe work practices with your staff.
Why do we have a safety newsletter?
Safe work practices ensure all of our employees work safely. Working safely reduces injuries and saves money. We hope this newsletter will help you to understand and share our safety policies with all employees. Please feel free to contact your supervisor with any questions. Thank you in advance for your participation.
